Working 9 to 5 ... .. or Not

Well, as those of you read in my post a week or so ago know, I've been stressed out about finding a job. It wasn't so much the entire finding a job thing that was stressing me out, but rather finding a job that was going to work with my "freedom" requirements. I devote several hours a week to my daughter's classroom and have always picked her up from school. I was being very picky about how far I would commute, since gas sucks ass, and the dreaded requirement of being stuck in an office from 8am until 5pm.

Well, I found a job. Not only did I find a job, but it's a great job that leaves me completely open to tweak my schedule as I see fit. I can work from home, work in the office, be in my daughter's classroom, and come as go and I see fit. I'm so excited and happy.

Today was my 2nd day and the owner is a fabulous lady that is just fun to be around. I'm working as a contract paralegal and tomorrow she's taking me to get my Document Preparers license, and I will start studying for the Notary test so I can be a Notary as well. She's welcomed me with completely open arms and has asked that I write a personal bio for the company website. There's so much more too but no one wants to hear me ramble on about all of it.

I just wanted to share my happy news with all my mybloggers friends.

YAY!

Just noticed your blog. Hey, everything sounds great! Your a very "pretty" lady, and seem to have a good "head" on your shoulders. I think you will do well.... My name is Gary. Most everyone who commented on this blog knows me somewhat. If you wonder about my "character", ask someone here. Anyway, I was away for awhile from blogs. Various reasons, but before I wrote over 1000 blogs on Blogster. Now I am here. I pretty much have an erratic life, I could use a paralegal at times. Hope you keep in touch. Might be able to do some business Later.. Gary

This is fabulous news! It's wonderful to have a job you enjoy, can pretty much call your own hours, and can even work from home! I know your daughter's teacher appreciates your help in the classroom! Helping moms are a mainstay in a good educational situation! Outstanding!!

Thank you! I do try to live my life in a way that just promotes tranquilty. I have no time for disharmony... it slips in from time to time but I have better things to do then be pissy!

Great news...you're extremely fortunate to say the least. You seem to live life deliberately and not let a lot of things bother you...great approach...best of luck!
