Great photo. You should enlarge this one and get it framed.
Great photos and I love the JP (he looks so 70s). Hope your day this year was almost as memorable.
Your B-I-L will be sending the photos later this week and is happy for you to share then with your MyBloggers friends. We had a wonderful Christmas and also hope we can do it again. Thanks to the great hosts.
Mum had tarts to bring along with my tin of goodies and she forgot them. Otherwise you'd have even more leftover treats.
Your recipe is almost exactly the same as mine. I cut mine out of the Vancouver Sun a few years ago. I'll bring a few with me and we can have a taste test.
A back-up camera - what a neat idea. I could use one of those when I'm turning around in our driveway. If I back up to far I could either hit the slope or slip off the driveway. I don't turn the car around in the dark.
Yum! In Vancouver I had a friend who made us a batch of Nanaimo bars every year as a Christmas gift. I sure miss them, although one or two pieces would usually keep me to the next year. This is one thing I've never made because they are too dangerous to have around a whole tray full.
Looking forward to seeing the tree in person if Angel hasn't undecorated it all before we arrive. Nice tree. We didn't get one this year but I gathered some downed branches and hung some of my small ornaments on them.
Even a non-cat lover can enjoy these. Cats with attitude.
SC almost has enough vehicles now to start his own used car lot.
Since I'm lucky if I finish one knitting project a year, there is no worry (or expectation) that anyone will receive a knit gift from me.
I am so sorry to hear about Shawny. She was such a friendly dog and beautiful as well. I feel for your loss but realize it was the best thing you could do for her. X0X0X0X0X0
Great photos of his visit and it looks like you gave him the royal tour. Hope he didn't mind our November snowfall. Good photo of him with K and M.
My dog on the other hand needs strong encouragement to go outside in the rain. When he comes back in and after I wipe his wet feet, he leaps around and barks with happiness. I think I know how he feels.
What fun! I'm sure he's going to enjoy his visit, although November may not be our best season. Hope he hasn't been blown away by all the recent winds. Have fun at Coombs and the craft fairs. We once had a guest (he actually lived with us for 6 months) and when we went to meet him at the airport, we didn't know what he looked like, so we just wandered around looking for someone who matched his name and background. We failed miserably and only found him when there was almost nobody left. oops!
