It's been unseasonably warm here too, 60's and 70's. but we've had a coupla frosts so the leaves have turned. Mebee winter will only last 6 months this year instead of the usual 8

sounds like my old neighbors in Ra-cha-cha. They were always out in the backyard loudly and drunkenly celebrating some milestone event.....somebody had a birthday, somebody had an anniversary, somebody got a job, somebody got out of jail, somebody's hemmerhoids cleared up etc. etc. No dogs, though. The dog (named "Oswald" incidentally,) lived across the street.

I agree...regular tv is pretty lame. I have been enjoying Netflix for years and I highly recommend it. You can always find somethng good to watch anytime of the day or night. It will however, never take the place of a good book

Yeah the cable and tv networks have us by the short ones. That's why I told the cable company to go pound it somewhere and subscribed to Netflix. We had a bit of a Superbowl....I mean "Big Game" party( don't wanna get sued by the NFL, speaking of entertainment a--holes). Denver won as I had predicted much to the delight of many here at Shady Pines. Carolina was such a favorite going in I knew the Mob would not let all that money ride on pure chance.

the bears were no doubt looking for pic-a-nic baskets . we had snow like that here in Cow Snot last mon.-tues. I actually went and shoveled my own car out and didn't keel over from a heart attack.
