Dude, No Dell for You!

So we buy a new Dell, $1850. It comes with a defective hard drive. I'm on the phone for hours. They finally send us a new drive. So now I have to manually reinstall everything because the new drive had flaws with the preinstalled software on it. So I had no Internet for the last three days, WHAAA!!! Poor me.

Roger's mother is on her last days. They are going to move her to a nursing home, and we need to get Hospice there for her. Roger is just in shock, plus his brother is in the hospital for dehydration.

We are going to Chincoteague this weekend instead. Elk asked if we ever considered living there, but there is not much down there employment and school wise. It's just a nice, quiet weekend getaway.

Everybody have a nice weekend. I have to cleam this place up and get my homework done before we go. The dog gets to stay in a kennel this weekend. I'm sure he will be overly exited.

I had my own dell issue, it was bad. I had to call the lovely call center based in India and fought with them non stop. It was difficult... To bear..

Anywho, I am sorry about Roger's mom, that is the industry I am in. Have you found a place? Here is a site that I do business with but they refer you to places based on your needs, budget etc. Hospice is 100% covered by Medicare. Www.aplaceformom.com

I have never owned a Dell but I am always hearing complaints about it--strangely enough I have owned the 'cheaper' brands E Machines and Compaq and haven't had problems with them.
Sorry about Roger's mom but at least you have time to deal with it and they can say their goodbyes.

clock.Got the package and we have to do it ourself. This is sort o
BS.Whatever happen to the sales person that used to come by
and sort things out here. This will be the last time for Dell.
Sorry and very sorry to hear about Roger mom.Very sad.
Good luck in Chincoteague.I was stationed there while in the Navy

I went through that with my mother in law. It was so tough. Something so depressing about being in a nursing home. I had trouble going in every time. Hang in there.
