We had very hard wind last night and lost power for three hours.
This was while we were sleeping.
The generator kicked in and this is the first time that it been used.
Works wonder.We loved it so far.

On a sad note lost one of the last of Friends a month ago.
This is a person that I met at the club years ago.
We became good friends.
The last few years that he was failing slowly and try to visit him as much as possible.As I was just about the only one that he had.
His family lived out of state and rarely see them.
I know that he was failing but try my best to make him smile and have conversation sort of.His mind was going but he know who I was.
This week I decided to visit him.
When I got there,he was no longer there.
Then I know that he was gone and kicked myself for not seeing him sooner.
I did not or missed the obit in the paper.
Left there feeling like s ----- t .
His family very seldom to come and see him.
Well they lived in DC the son in Australia.
I met the son but not the daughter.
both of these children were adopted.
He was an officer in the Army.
Graduating from OCS.
His name was Harold Todd.
died at the age of 89,
He was gay and never came out.
I for one got him going and taking him out to enjoy the last year of his life.
But the sad part is,wished that I was there for his last few days on earth.
To Harold:I am very sorry that I was not there to hold your hand.
At the nursing home I asked them to notify me any changes.
They asked me are you a member of the family.No,I am not.
So in another word they will not notify me.BS.
That was my week.
He died January the ninth.
