Once again this summer, HRC has joined forces with Cyndi Lauper for the musical event of the year in support of GLBT equality. The second annual True Colors Tour, featuring Cyndi, The B-52s, Rosie O'Donnell, Carson Kressley, Tegan and Sara, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Joan Armatrading, Wanda Sykes, Regina Spektor, Indigo Girls, The Cliks, Deborah Cox, and many others, will visit more than 20 cities across the country, starting May 31 and ending July 5, with HRC receiving $1 from every ticket sold from the True Colors Fund. Cyndi Lauper has long been a supporter of the GLBT community, and particularly of HRC. Cyndi has said that her motivation for this tour was to raise awareness for GLBT issues this election year and bring gay and straight audiences together to vote for equality.
