A Letter from Rocky

Mike and I belong to the CSRNE Rescue league.
This is where Buffy came from.
A great organization to adopt cockers.
We loved them and support them all the way.
Just a little note from them.
Loved it.
Wanted to share this with all of the dogs owners out there.
Take time to seek this and helped them.
They really need your help.
Thank you.Fredo

Dear CSRNE,

I'm settling in nicely in my new digs! Most of my days are spent exploring the paths around my new home, a little hiking and I even manage to squeeze in time for fetch with my football! (I'm expecting the Patriots to be looking to me for some pointers!)

Sometimes I get to join my dad at work at the fire station. I'm the handsome new mascot for the Millbury Fire Station. I even have my own handmade turnout coat to keep me looking good while on the job.

Thank you so much for bringing me to Jon and Kate's lives, we are a perfect match! They sure know how to scratch a belly!

Love,
Rocky

I love cockers too. I had one that was so devoted to my daughter that she
was over protective.

What a wonderful story! I admire people who adopt adult dogs, most people want a cute little puppy and forget they grown into adult dogs. All of my cats and dogs are rescue animals. Thanks for this post, Fredo.

Hard to believe the holidays are coming up soon. Things are quiet, always good news. I miss being at home in Colorado, but need to be here with Buddy the Cat keeping his dish filled.

Handsome little thing I have kept Spaniels but never a Cocker Spaniel - a very old breed of dogs - a favourite of the Stuarts and Hanovarian Monarchy here. A glance at a lot of portraits of the old monarchies will often feature a couple of this breed.

I loved Spaniel dogs.Springers are great. This is the second one that we had.
We lost the first one at a very young age of seven. He had cancer of the blood.Very sad.Buffy is not ten and he is doing great.Had a hard time with him from the beggining but stuck it out.The poor fellar was abused by the original owners that they tell us.A lot of work and now he is a gem.Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, that's wonderful. I think I've told you we had a cocker spaniel named Buff when I was a kid.
