Of course I would not love my son less if he were gay, transexual, smokes, drink, takes cocaine but I hope he would not watch videos to make him feel it is quite common and acceptable to join in. I have no doubt that my environment and the perceptions of others have contributed to what I am. For example, if I grew up in an environment where people punctuated their sentences with vulgarities and profanities and made to believe it is quite natural and acceptable I would more likely go along with that kind of behaviour and reaction even though I may not be born with a tendency to that kind of behaviour.
I am not against them and their choice. I only have to think through some of these questions: What would I say if one of them were my son? What if my son were to be influenced by them and decide to be like them?
