I agree with you entirely. Elizabeth still comes to Pontrhydyfen to stay with his family occasionally. His family home is just a normal terraced 'miners' house on a small road - but there is a 'plaque' on the front of the house telling folks that he was born there. She is a much loved woman around these parts.

DID THEY NOT HAVE ANY DIALOG ON THIS?

THE MUSIC SEEMED TO TAKE AWAY THE STORY HERE.
I SEE THE CREDIT ON THE MUSIC THERE.NEVER HEARD OF THEM.

Not too sure - I thought it was Elvis, to be honest, but if you have looked at the credits (I didn't) you know more than me. I was trying to find a video with the original soundtrack - I failed

I still think that Elizabeth and Richard were made for each other
