I will offer you my sister's remedy for a sore throat, but as you can't swallow, not sure if you can do it. you need fresh garlic, crush it and put on a piece of toast. then you eat it. garlic is a natural anti-biotic but you can't cook it for the full effect. get well soon

why did the power go out? that must have been scary Kelli! I always notice how quiet it gets when the power is off. you don't realize how noisy things are. I hope you are feeling better.
