The funeral yesterday was short and to the point. Very much like Sharon.  She lived her 57 yrs to the max.  The Minister was nice, he made you smile and even laugh a little.  Keep her family in your thoughts, they still have another service to go thru as she will be buried in North Carolina.  Two services are hard, we went thru that with my dad..it isn't easy.
After the service a group of us decided to have supper together. We decided to go to a local Steak place, and boy was that a mistake.  We got this young guy waiter who I swear didn't have a clue as to what he is doing.  He got everyone's order wrong twice....and kept saying "I feel so bad"over and over and over.....finally we had enough and I patted him on his arm and said...."It's ok that you feel bad...we feel bad for you...now do you think you can get it right?"  He never did and we finally just said forget it...we'll eat what we have.  Then the ck came and that wasn't right...poor kid...I don't know what his problem was...it just wasn't his night.   I doubt any of us will go back there anytime soon...
Like I said I left work at noon today....I stopped by Amish country on the way home.  I got to see the twins..and goodness are they getting big.  Eli is going to have really curly hair...Little Eugenia...has some teeth let me tell you....she was chewing on my finger and bite the heck outta me..LOL    It was such a nice visit...Sarah had made some tea and we sat out on her front porch in rockers and held the babies and sipped tea most of the afternoon.  I loved it.    I'm not sure but they may be moving back to Ohio.  Sarah's husband's father passed away a few weeks ago...and her hubby has been in Ohio helping his mom take care of things.  He is the oldest...so it will be up to him to help his mom as she still has little ones at home.   I'm hoping that it doesn't happen...but I have a feeling it will.  I'll find out in a few weeks for sure.
Oh and I talked to my friend K today...asked her how her twins were doing...Nathan and Peyton.  She said they were doing fine, they were sleeping thru the night already.  She said Nathan was very easy going and hardly ever cried, and that Peyton's cries could wake the dead..LOL  Big Sister Kynzie..loves to pester them....one of the things she loves to do is when they are sleeping she shakes the cribs and wakes them up...LOL   K. said she would send more pictures soon.
Not sure what we are doing for the 4th. Most likely BBQ some hamburgers and ribs or something.  I already have a big watermelon chilling in the fridge...so if your in this neck of the woods stop by.  There will be plenty....and even a few hugs to go around.. *grins*
Happy 4th Everybody...
