As you can see from the title of my blog what it's doing around here. I woke up to thunder, and tried to snuggle deeper under the covers. But in this house thats pretty impossible...if it isn't a cat yelling in your ear, it's somebody singing. This morning it was thunder and the sound of my hubby sneezing and moaning in the living room. He's sick..got the crud. When anybody asks him hows he's feeling he gives you a dirty look and tells you to leave him alone...he's such a joy to be around when he's sick...*insert eye roll here*...LOL
Nobody slept much last night, hubby kept hopping up out of bed to blow his nose or sneezing his head off. Right now he's passed out in his recliner sleeping.
Not going out to Amish country today. Those dirt roads are bad enough in good weather...they have pot holes out there big enough to swallow my poor car...but in the rain it's even worse. So I'm home this morning.
News around here is Wildlife folks have spotted black bear tracks near work. Which have freaked out folks some. I've seen dear and possums, and a armadillo in the back of our building so a bear wouldn't surprise me. Although if he did decide to visit I hope I'm inside. LOL
I am happy that I am pretty much caught up on things at work...we won't talk about the filing tho...that's another whole can of worms..LOL My Supervisor will be gone next week to some seminar so I'm not sure how caught up I'll stay...
Wednesday night I'll leave work and go eat supper with some girlfriends. We do it every year for our birthdays. It's nice to get together and just catch up with each other. We talk and email all the time...but it's hard with work and families to actually spend quality time together.
Thursday will be a long day. I'll get to work at 8:00 and won't leave until after 7:00...since I'll be by myself I have to stay and close after a meeting.
That's about all that's going on in this neck of the woods...it's still pouring outside and hubby is snoring...so I'll close this and go catch up on your blogs.. *huggers*
