Death Penalty for 9/11 Attacks. Spying Contractors

Long time guys and gals. I am sitting in Delaware, living on the beach. Literally. Here is the view from my window...minus the sunbathers of course, since it is like 20 degrees here...

Anyway, got a couple things for you. First, reason 271 why contractors should NOT be doing government jobs. They tend to sell information to others. Then again, the
Pentagon sold nuclear secrets to Pakistan too. Maybe I should say, Republican dominated governments and contractors shouldn't be doing anything important. It just gets screwed up royally. That link is about one of the largest contractors, Boeing, selling secrets to the Chinese. Wait, haven't we heard of this potentially before? Yes, here.

And let me start this part by saying, if after a fair trial, these guys are convicted and proved guilty, sure, sentence them to what they deserve. That being said, the "masterminds" of 9/11 are looking at the death penalty. I want a fair trial for them, because we already killed a million plus people in the name of 9/11 who had nothing to do with it. So at least get this one right. But other than that, Here is the article on it. And I want to make a quick correction to this "journalist". Here is what needs correcting..

" Officials sought the death penalty in the unprecedented military tribunal case that has been clouded by revelations the key suspect suffered interrogation tactics that critics call torture."

Now for the Correction. It is not "critics" who call waterboarding "torture". It was first the U.S. Government, that called it torture. Flashback, 1947...

"Twenty-one years earlier, in 1947, the United States charged a Japanese officer, Yukio Asano, with war crimes for carrying out another form of waterboarding on a U.S. civilian. The subject was strapped on a stretcher that was tilted so that his feet were in the air and head near the floor, and small amounts of water were poured over his face, leaving him gasping for air until he agreed to talk.

"Asano was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor," Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) told his colleagues last Thursday during the debate on military commissions legislation. "We punished people with 15 years of hard labor when waterboarding was used against Americans in World War II," he said."

Time for Bush/Cheney/Gonzo et al. to do their 15 years hard labor, for what we called torture, even back then...

When it comes to Chinese espionage, you'd better not single out any one administration or else we're going to have an extensive dialog -- which I will make very embarrassing for you -- about how long the Chinese have been trying to steal military and industrial secrets from the US. Hint: a lot freaking longer than this administration's been in power.

Can we discuss Lippo Group in this context? How about Wen Ho Lee and a legitimate case (much more so than Padilla) of civil rights violations -- which the US government and media outlets settled for lots of money -- under the Clinton Administration?

Oh well, we're now on the Canadian list as a country that tortures...hypocrisy and lies are the speciality of this administration...
