Mr. Obama correctly framed the choice for voters: The country can return to policies that stacked the deck for the wealthy and left everyone else to fend for themselves, creating what he called â€œyouâ€™re on your own economics.â€ Or elected officials can step in to keep competition fair and ensure the government has enough money to protect the vulnerable and invest in education and research.

He did not correctly frame the choice. If you he was honest, the framing would have been:

Reelect me [Obama] and continue the march to Socialism. Or
Vote for [insert name here] and stay with this outdated Constitution nonsense.

Of course, he will never be honest and tell us what he wants to do.

Perhaps you, Eddie, can be the one who explains to me why folks on the right seem to think that name-calling adds something to whatever point they are trying to make. Is it, perhaps, that you think your listeners/readers don't think about what they ingest? If it looks hateful it must be true?
