"I only attended for the outdoor activities and the free hot dogs" That is pretty funny! Also, to further your campaign to be named featured blogger, you must not have the default avatar...only users with an avatar are featured.
I am not a big fan of advanced editors, but MyBloggers now has one.

I made some changes today...so, you are not going crazy.
Where (and what) are you trying embed? Just paste the code in the article text area. I am not sure what could be easier. Of course, things appear to be easy when one knows the system.
I was able to watch the entire thing....very interesting.
