Could your computer have suddenly regarded mybloggers as a "strange" site, one that blocks further accessing...or did you switch browsers? It may be a computer problem, it may be a server problem. Maybe Eddie will get the message and be able to shed a helpful light on all of this.
That's great news! Enjoy her time here as much as you can!
I dunno. I had problems accessing mybloggers the other day. When I did manage to get it to open, I would log on and it would "hold" for a bit, and then I would lose the connection. This went on for the entire day.
Excellent piece to read, Martin! Liza is tremendous!
I browsed over some of this because I may be missing some of the show. But, I'm one of those people who likes to see "what's next" and "what's coming on" without knowing ahead of time...plus I hate knowing what some of the things are that I might miss...so I didn't want to pick up too much detail.
I just realized that I may not be able to see the whole show. I'm certainly going to see as much of it as I can, though. Gee, why does it have to be on the 15th? (Out of the home commitments.)
I suppose some might vote for McCain because of their concerns on other issues...maybe they think other issues are more important...maybe even being unfairly discriminated against for gays as a whole doesn't "effect" them personally so they don't care enough. But, I think the majority of gays will not be voting for McCain. Alone, I may not be a majority, but I know I'm not voting for him.
I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait to see this!
Judy is a classic lady and that is why she was the classic entertainer. Problems, hardships, sufferings are a real part of people's lives...and so are various levels of successes, abilities, talents, happiness, etc. She was and had all of those things...and she was all of those things...so that is who performed and entertained. She brought all of it on the screen and stage and with all the energy of it all. The audience knew it, could see it, and felt it. Yes, she's the greatest IDEAL of an entertainer, therefore she achieved it, making her truly the greatest entertainer of them all.
I like and appreciate both of these women but, of the two, I personally prefer Loren. I love her talent, her charm, and all she has done in the business and outside of the business...and, she is a knock-out beauty!
You probably haven't seen it, but there is a tv show (you might be familiar with a "reality-type" show called "COPS" that shows real footage of cops answering calls and fighting crime)similar to "COPS"...don't know the exact name of it...that features a gay cop. He is outwardly gay (he even has a gay version of a uniform) and he answers calls and fights crime. It isn't necessarily always a positive portrayal of gays in the police force, but it does emphasize the fact that they do exist in the police force, they do their job, and they do the job whether they are treated with acceptance or not.
This is the first I've ever really read about these awards. I had heard of them, but didn't know what they were or anything about them. Now I know more and I can thank you for that.
This was an exceptional piece. She deserves a big WTG and a lot of love and respect.
I haven't seen any of the nominated shows or performers, so I must refrain from saying who or what should win. However, I will enjoy the outcome, I'm sure, because I will not have pre-conceived ideas of who or what is most deserving.
