It is Memorial Day. So many memories. Some day, we'll all be memories.

Doc, when I was a kid, the neighbor man would take my aunt (6 years older than I -- I guess a menopause baby) out to see wild flowers. I remember finding a "mud pie" which everyone told me to throw down immediately. It was a dried cow pattie. (Did I tell you this story before?)

Beautiful picture!
Gosh, DD, was this your picture? I know you've been in California everywhere I've been. I've been through Bakersfield many times. I haven't seen these exact hills, but I recognize the wildflowers: mustard, lupines, ummm... I don't think they're poppies... wonder what they are? The hills of California can't be beat at the beginning of spring!! I think they're gone now... the heat wilts them so quickly... but exquisite when in bloom!
That is a gorgeous picture! Where in the world is a place so beautiful. I would go there just to see that for real. Only nature can make gaudy beautiful!
You cheer up my jolly friend! nice picture...
Appreciate your long term friendship, Larry B. Now that I have you two confused, both messages apply.
