Oh but they did.

The ex came over and left me a fabulous note about them getting married in Mexico. Apparently:

1- it's not my business whether he gets married or not.

I feel like on some level he is right...but Ryley is my son and Doug is his dad, doesn't the choices that Doug makes that affect my son have a little bit do with me? In other words, should I not know he is getting married before he gets married rather than later as he was hoping? If Ryley gets a new step mom that he will be spending time at every weekend and summer...how is that not my business?

2- the cash they are going to Mexico with is from her murdered brothers inheritance. *funny cause prior to this revelation he told me HE was paying for it*

That was thrown in there in such a manner to be 'in your face'. First of all, I wonder if she knows that Ryley was named after MY murdered brother Kenny? Does she know that he sat in garbage dump for three months before he was found? Does she know that he was still alive when he was thrown in there and died later? Does she know that Doug and I fought about naming Ryley after Ken, as Doug thought it was gross to name a baby after a dead guy?

3- and finally, I was told in the letter that marriage is sacred.

I wonder if she is aware of the fact that in the last TWO years Doug has proposed to three other women in addition to her?

Exes....not worth all that much in the scheme of things.
