Well, I took a little side trip in my knitting and attempted spinning. Yeah, not so simple it seams. I was trying with a drop spindle and some youtube videos. I ended up with more twist in my leader yarn then anywhere else and it just wasn't moving up into the roving peice, and when ever I would get a little bit of spun yarn it would untwist before I could get it wound up on the spindle. I will have to find a class or something more interactive. I have decided to put it away untill at least October when I have some vacation time and maybe can devote a couple of days to practicing. If the acnients where able to do it surely I can learn?
If truth be told I could never figure out the abacus either.
Oh well, I guess maybe I am a modern gal.
