Houseboys and Concubines
GM is designing the Obama Chevy Volt due in 2010. An entirely electric car, it needs gasoline to recharge the battery. Our two preemptive wars in the region increased turmoil driving oil prices up. Since we fight wars on borrowed money, the dollar has weakened another cause of rising prices. After the GOP failed to regulate the mortgage industry, they unleashed a number of fraudulent credit deals that led to the housing bubble. After the citizen loses his home, he won't have a car to sleep in or to commute to a job. After the Chinese cash in their T-bills, they can buy our homes cheaply and employ us as houseboys and concubines.
If GM can develop the Obamamobile, it could be a Godsend.
