"[R]easonable, tempered and tolerant legislators" rarely can afford to begin the process for election. Politicians such as Obama and Hagel succeed with the capacity to gloss over their corruption. They are such good actors they can dupe the public time and time again.
They talk of disengagement from Iraq, but promise an expansion of the war effort in Afghanistan. If they are serious, the military should pursue clear, seize and hold until all of them return home in victory or in body bags.
If they are serious about government reform, they should test all legislators with lie detector tests and jury trials.
