I was still in school when Sir Tom made his first entry into the british charts with 'It's not unusual' - preparing to leave the establishment a.s.a.p. - hated it! I dunno, it has got to be around 1968/9 when that single was released.
My sister-in-law, adored him . . . me? I thought 'bleuch' . . . Mick Jagger and Ozzie was my 'flavour' - oh! and 'tamla motown' too!
Over the years, Sir Tom is still going (haven't 'liked' him though), but, he has been on the UK's annual (televised) charity show 'Children in Need'. What caught my attention, was the fact that although I daresay he could afford to, he has not attempted any 'surgery' to himself (well I couldn't notice it lol)
He looks more 'genuinely' handsome now - not 'tarted up' plus, he has let his hair become maturely distinguished - aka 'natural'! He looks a bit of 'allright' now (blush) . . .
Not sure but I thought that his son had a bit of problems.
He does look better now and mature.I love mature men
