A ‘Labradoodle’, is a cross between a Labrador and a Poodle.

The cross between a Yorkshire terrier and a poodle is a "Yorkiepoo".

'Dog Kung Fu' is a kind of martial art where the initial stance is on all-fours. It was invented by a Chinese nun. (I am saying 'nuffin' . . . lol)!

‘ Karate’ means ‘Empty hand’. ‘Judo’ means ‘The gentle way’.

The only dog that lays eggs is a dogfish, which is a type of shark ( a small one – they are abundant, in the waters around here – Bedrock informs me 'frequently' when he comes back from fishing. lol)
Examples of islands named after birds include Puffin Island and Bird Island.
