A Test Post

Hiya, this is just a test post . . .
This is for Solitare:
Here we go:

1. Go onto your 'advance editor'.

2. Click on 'Add image' - a box will ask you how you want to add it ( I am assuming, you want to get them from your computer - this is the only way I ever do it), so : -

3. Click on 'Up-load from your computer'.

4. Browse through your pictures and make your selection by clicking on the 'select' from your mouse browser.

5. You will then be asked to 'up load Image' - do so.

6. After a few seconds (depends how quick your computer [and mybloggers] is), Your picture, will appear in the little box which has been giving you, your instructions.

7. In this recangular box, you may have to get it to 'scroll down' a little, in order to receive the instruction which says : -

8. 'Select Code' - you have to 'Left Click' the 'select code' - the HTML, will
turn 'BLUE' - 'Right Click' in the blue html and Click on th 'COPY'.

9. Click on the 'Finished' section. The rectangle will disappear.

10. You will now be looking at The Advanced Editor.

11. On the top of the advanced editor on the Right Hand Side, look for a little square with the letter T in it (it sort of looks like a small 'suitcase').

12. Click on it, a 'Box' will appear - Left Click in it and PASTE. You will observe HTML script (ignore it).

13. Down on the bottom of his box, you will see a smaller rectangle, which says 'INSERT' - click on it.

14. Hopefully, you will now see your picture in the Advance Editor!

Hope it works for you, don't give up trying! lol

It's me again. Thanks. I'm not having much luck with my own photos. I did everything, waited 15 minutes ('waiting for...."), finally gave up and shut down the computer. If it takes that long to download a photo into a post, forget it! Grrrrr.

Computers are very handy, clever gadgets . . . (big BUT) . . . they are swiving annoying, when they don't perform as thy are 'supposed' to do - they can send our blood pressure 'soaring' without even 'trying' . . .

No, I am still 'Pagan' - Elderjane read one of Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales' and found the verb 'Swive' and suggested using it to replace the 'F' word. I think it is a good idea, so you may come across in it a few posts you may read by other bloggers too

Until I actually try, thank you! I'm still not sure how to get pictures that aren't my own. Like, let's say, from a Wikipedia photo of Dave Brubeck.

This part is relatively easy.
1. Choose the photo you want to print.
2. Place the mouse on it.
3. Right 'Click' the mouse - you will have a list of choices :-
4. Click on the 'Save Picture As' option - a separate box from your computer, will appear somewhere on the computer screen, it will have a description of the picture, if you are happy with that description or, if you want to have a better description i.e. Dave Brubeck, for easier reference, simply add the name to that box and click on 'save' in it.
5. You (should) have the picture in your computer.
6. Use this, when you are on the Advanced Editor, as your 'Browse Option' (Number 4. on the first set of instuctions I gave you).
You should be all set up now,

Fredo helped me with the 'standard editor' picture posting - it was so frustrating - once upon a time, I was doing it ok, but, after so long away from here, I just forgot how to do it! Never mind, all's well that end's well
