Dartmoor Ponies


 

The photograph I used for The Dartmoor Pony wasn’t the best one I could have found lol.

The picture is looking at him/her ‘straight on’ and caused it to appear a little ‘distorted’ – I had to put some more pictures on, so that you can see the beautiful little breed ‘properly’ – they deserve to be admired <3 <3

They are such a ‘hardy’ pony, with a wonderful temprement!

My own personal favourite of the British breeds however, are The Welsh Cobs – these, are MAGNIFICENT!

They are truly beautiful little horses. They look about the size of the Shetland breed, although with more tone and muscle.

They are a little higher than the Shetland - probably up to 14. 2 hh. As you noticed, they are a strong breed - loads of stamina too when you ask it of them.

(Just realized I am logged-in as Febreze) I am like a div
I have just been finding some photos of Welsh Cobs I did hope to post them tonight, but I kept on reading about the particular horses I found - oh I really do love this breed. Once upon a moon long long ago, I had a Section A colt - 'Shandy', he was gorgeous. He was the smallest of the types. He ended up the 'daddy' of quite a few ponies up the valleys from here
I will post everything tomorrow (I have got to go to bed - I am dropping lol. G'night Laura, see you tomorrow
