I think it is often more difficult for women to loose weight. Our body metabolism is different than men. When a man and a woman both are sitting and relaxing, the man will burn more calories than the woman. It just isn't fair!!!!
Two of my favorite pasttimes.... eating and movies. But, living out here on the ranch so far from town... I don't get to do the movie thing very often. I miss that about city life. Loosing weight is on my list of things to accomplish. I think that is the most difficult of all my list of resolutions. Have a Happy New Year Martin. Enjoyed the pics.
Like looserobes, I have lots of snow to send you. I'm hoping for a better year in 2009. 2008 had two back surgeries and I'm definitely ready to put that behind me now and get on with life. I must say, it is nice to have a friend on the other side of the world in Mindanao. Your Oregon friend - Cowgirl Annie :o)
JR and I had a nice Christmas. Now, he is on his way to Texas to go hunting with his grandson and I'm home alone. Well... the dogs, the cows, and the horses are here, plus a coyote or two, cougars, bobcats, deer, etc. Well... you get the picture.
I always enjoy seeing people's pictures. It is nice to put faces with names. You have a wonderful family. Cayden and Collin are simply dolls!!!! Of course, I'm one of those women who are crazy about babies. Love to hold them and just watch them!!!! Thanks again for sharing your family.
If JR sold the cows, I could retire. Oh well... maybe retirement is not in my future. He's off hunting in Texas with his grandson and I'm taking care of the ranch. Something is wrong with this picture.
Fredo is a wonderful guy. Last year, I got a Guatemalan gift. I've always wanted to visit that country. I love their colorful handmade items and their art. Glad you had a fun Christmas. Children always make it special. And... hope your New Year is great. I've got to work on being slimmer, too. Love - Annie :o)
Liposuction.... that is the cure for those extra pounds.
Now how old are you????? You know these things just start popping up with age. Hope your leg gets to feeling better soon.
I haven't stopped by your blog for awhile. Sorry about that. I like your snowmen avatar... it goes well with what I see out my window. It is coooold here. So what is this business you are doing? Somehow, I missed that info if you already blogged about it.
Here... I'm still tending to the cows. Boring!!!!! But that's my life. I did have a nice Christmas. We went to my sister's in town. The food was good and lots of good conversation. Hope your Christmas was great.
Annie :o)
That could be a picture of Southern Oregon country. It's looking very much the same here. I've always loved the snow, but this year.... not so. I think that excitement about snow diminishes with age.
I loved the pictures of the cats and their presents. I think they were pretty high on cat nip. Isn't there a law against getting your cats high? Your Christmas sounds like it was really nice. Glad your cake was liked by everyone. JR and I took Annie dog to my sister's house. She has three cats and they weren't happy to see a dog. But Annie dog was very good and didn't chase any of them. Today, JR and Chance are on their way to Texas to go hunting. What an adventure. They were really excited until the fog in Klamath Falls delayed them for a few hours. That put JR in a bad mood. I just got a call and they are now on the plane and ready to fly. Wish I were going, but someone has to stay here and run the ranch. Why is it always me?????
Love ya dear friend - Annie :o)
I'll really miss Paul Newmann!!!! He has always been one of my favorites. I think of him as Butch Cassidy. That is my favorite movie.
Our Christmas was very quiet compared to yours. How interesting, people not talking but living in the same building. Yep... it would make for an interesting Christmas. Sounds like you and Ray had a really nice time. I'm glad your grading is all done and you can relax. Your Western friend - Annie :o)
