It has warmed up here a bit. We have some snow off and on... but no big blizzards. It may even rain. That sure will be a mess.
Seems the older I get, the fewer presents I get. My niece got me two books. One is an audio book which is set in Amish Country. I'm really enjoying that one.
Happy New Year - Annie :o)
Interesting..... waiting to hear more in the future.
I'm watching, but my view on these "interesting times" is more from a Biblical prospective in terms of Armageddon. I watch and I ponder. Annie
Nice pictures Jon.
Thank you Marg for sharing your family Christmas pics. That baby is sure cute. And I love the one of the children playing with their new toys. Also, that is some icicle!!!! Everything is covered with snow around here, too. Glad you had a nice family time. (((hugs))) Annie :o)
That is great news, AJ.
Your furry babies are beautiful !!!! Sorry you have a cold and a headache. Hope you feel better soon. ((((hugs)))) Annie :o)
Beautiful!!!!!
The picture you posted is really magnificent. I found the whole post interesting. I know I've got to work on myself in this coming year. Thank you for sharing these words.
Great words of wisdom. Thanks for sharing them. Beautiful!!!!
Cooking for 10 deer hunters??? That is a full time job in itself. JR is off in Texas "harvesting" a deer. Actually his grandson is the one doing the hunting. This is his first deer hunt. It is rather quiet here now that I am alone again. Once-in-awhile... the dog sighs. Yes, there are some extraordinary people such as Ellie. Personally, I don't have that kind of energy. Happy New Year to you Susil.
I'm coming to your house for Christmas dinner next year!!!! I'm not even waiting for an invitation. Your menu is invitation in itself. I, too, have solitude now that JR is off hunting. Except he still calls by phone to tell me what to do. He is more bossy than an old lady. But, I love him.
I remember this one. Quite funny.
I buy myself flowers, too. Once-in-a-great-while, JR brings me flowers, but not often. My ex gave me two dozen roses just before we got a divorce. It was a little too late in that marriage for flowers. He should have done that much much sooner.
I always enjoy seeing pictures of the people with whom I blog and their families and pets. Thanks for sharing this one of you and Ray. I got a Christmas Card from my daughter with an updated picture. I need to scan it and share it. I'm staying away from in front of any cameras until I loose some weight. Geez... you might not ever see a new pic of me.
