I have to agree with the "interesting, insightful, and a tad bizarre at times." I also agree with the keeping blogs short. When I click on to a really long blog...forget it. I click right off.
This was a very nice post for Jenn. We are all hoping that Hazel comes home, but the sad part is she may not. Many of us know how difficult it is to say goodbye to a parent. I'm missing both of my parents. My mom died when I was 29 years old and my dad died 11 years ago. One never gets over the loss of a parent.
We all pray that there will be a break through. Too many have died of this terrible illness.
Aren't there any small dogs that don't shed? These dogs are beautiful.... but big!!!!
Hi Kelli - I just hate this having health problems. It seems it is a way of life for me, lately. So I completely understand the frustration you must be feeling. I will be praying for you.
About grumpy customers. I think that is just a part of your job description. You will have wonderful customers who love you and then those who are grouchy usually are grouchy with all the checkers. Just ignore them and keep smiling.
I've never had that kind of fish. But, I love eating fish. I'm just not so good at cooking it.
Love & hugs - Annie :o)
I can't even get on the Blogster site. Somehow, I got logged off and nothing I do will let me log back on. Frustrating. I was just trying to start blogging there again.
You know Martin.... I sometimes think that we have been born with different eyes sight or at least, our brain is just seeing what we want to see or what we don't want to see. Because as a Christian, a political conservative... it seems to me that all I see on the different blog sites is the bashing of Christians and conservatives. I, too, get tired of reading about how terrible we are and how terrible Republicans are.
It just strikes me that you are seeing one thing and I am seeing another. Like I said, I think we may have different eye sight and our brains are processing things differently.
I'm glad that I can have friends in both worlds. I may not always agree with my friends on every subject, but they are still my friends. I think that all of us need to work on throwing everyone into certain categories by labeling. All of us are individuals with our own views. We need to celebrate each others individuality.
I do hope that you consider me a friend just as I consider you a friend.

My hubby doesn't think we will survive an Obama presidency, either. I'm hoping that it won't be so bad. We have survived other not very good presidents. Maybe... just maybe... Obama will turn out okay. Hey... we don't have a crystal ball.
I actually was joking when I made that statement. Please, don't think I was being critical of your blogging. That was a tongue-in-cheek comment.
Thanks for sharing this video. This is great. So inspiring.
I'll be a Reagan Republican until the day I die and just maybe... in heaven, too. I'm also proud to say that my daughter, 37 years old, follows in my footsteps. She was at the Reagan Library a couple of days ago and she called me as she was leaving. She was in tears because she was so greatly moved by visiting the library. Now... that is devotion. I guess I did raise her right.... Reagan Right!!!!
Sounds like a great honeymoon. I've always wanted to visit the River Walk. I hear they have great food and it is suppose to be very romantic. I'm sooooo happy for the both of you.
Hi Strider, I'm just checking out who is up late blogging like me. Question??? Do you ever take a break from politics???
I hope you find her, too. Being alone is not a good thing.
