It has been 18 years and my class has never planned a reunion. I have heard it mentioned from many fellow classmates, that they regret, that we have never made the time to get together.

So, of course, I decided to plan this event. The internet is an amazing tool, to find classmates but I have come to a halt, in locating missing Alum's.

I had a class of 214 people, that came and went--only 149 people actually graduated with our class but I feel I need to include all people that should have graduated with us in 1990.

I currently have found approximately 125 people and the remainder, are mostly people that were only in our class for a year or two.

So far, the costs are coming out of my pocket, not that I mind but I certainly do not want to pay, to search for people. I have utilized sites, such as; classmates, reunion and facebook dot com. I have people searched and zaba searched the remainder of the lost Alum's, to no avail.

I have designed several logos, to make gifts to give out at the reunion---but I need opinions, as far as what would people like to receive.

I would like to stay around $4 per person and that would allow me to have printed; votive holder with votive, shot glass, coffee mug, mouse pad, champaign or wine glass-- (2 total) 1 of each. Each one will cost a little under $2 to make.

I am fortunate, to have a long time friend, from High School, that is trying to support me while doing this. We have had many people offer to be involved, we plan a date for a meeting and no one shows up--it is very frustrating!!!

I am so glad that I did this, I have had the opportunity to rekindle several relationships, from many years ago :)

I have a friend who is a professional DJ and he is giving me a great deal on a beautiful, new banquet hall, for $55 a person. We are going to charge $60 a person and hope to get some business donations, to cover the other expenses.

If you have ever had experience with this, I would love to hear your input and/or suggestions. The date is set for 9/20/2008--I want this event to be one that will be remembered!!! It is my duty, to make sure that we make-up for missing a 10 or 15 year!!!
