No-bake Cookies, Fast and Easy

I had an actual recipe for these years ago, since then I just ad lib. It's great to do, kids can help, healthy and inexpensive anytime cookie, and FAST to do.

Peanut butter and oatmeal and ......

1 cup peanut butter
2/3 or 2-3 tablespoons of your healthy spread..butter or?
melt both in a pot, stir till smooth and blended.
Take off heat and add any amount of goodies.
Goodies:
uncooked oatmeal, raisins, dried cranberries, nuts, cereals..Cheerios, Carob chips, Cocoa powder....

MIX in and spoon onto wax paper till cool.

The butter/healthy spread will help to have cookies melt in your mouth and not stick to the roof of your mouth.
Enjoy.Ana

You're my kind of cook! Perfect recipe idea and I intend to use it! (Crunchy chow mein noodles will work good in it if you remove it from the heat and let it cool a "tad" before stirring in the noodles. I know this from a candy recipe that I love. I believe any cold cereal...Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, Cheerios, etc. might work, too, when not too hot so as to make them completely soggy.)
