The Awakening..

I was watching Oprah yesterday, she had Will Smith as a guest. He spoke of his life changes since his grandmother passed, and he turned 40. One thing was he realizes his life has a purpose, his marriage has a purpose. Another thing he mentioned was that we think of life as a straight line, but it's really a circle. A birth, life, death, resurrection, and continues again. Each change is a death with an opportunity to resurrect ones self with a new purpose.

Way to go Will!

My dream on the morning of Nov. 5, was I kept "hearing" this thought came to me several times..."The Awakening"

My prayer is this Awakening will flow.....into the hearts and minds of all.

Have a great day

Awakening - Buddha Quote

One of his students asked Buddha,
"Are you the messiah?""
No", answered Buddha. "Then are you a healer?"
"No", Buddha replied."
Then are you a teacher?" the student persisted.
"No, I am not a teacher."
"Then what are you?" asked the student, exasperated.
"I am awake", Buddha replied.

“If every day is an awakening, you will never grow old.
You will just keep growing.”

I happened to see much of Will Smith on Oprah. I was quite impressed with him and his take on life's cyclical nature, despite my non belief in a higher power.

The Fifties are even better. You stop trying to please everybody and learn to take care of yourself first, so you will have something to give away to others!

I love that last quote Ana! it is so true. I once thought that hitting 40 yrs old was the end. I have discovered so much more about myself since turning 40 and I truly like who I am now. I am awake!
