I'LL BE THERE TONIGHT!
“The Phantom of the Opera” opened on Broadway in 1988 and 28 years is still playing there, having become the longest running musical in 2012.
25 years ago it opened the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale and now it is helping the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami celebrate their 10th anniversary.
With a new touring production starring Chris Mann, who was a finalist on “The Voice”, as the Phantom and Katie Travis as Christine, there are 52 people between the cast and orchestra in addition to all the people behind the scene.
Add all the romance, songs, music, costumes and scenery and you have a full production showing you why it is such a success all over the world.
