When people have notified us that they no longer want to be a part of the community, we have removed them and their blog history. It is also detrimental to the survival of the site to have the exact duplicate posts in blogs here as well as at other blog sites. This duplicate content can cause us serious issues with Google. I would say though that the people that have disappeared have requested it and have been and continue to Blog elsewhere.
No one has been removed because of duplicate content, but some have been removed because they have requested it. And yes there will be a process for dormant blogs to be removed or archived, but dormant blogs really has no impact on you as a user.
Oh what Google doesn't tell you is that if you don't want their adds to show you have to agree that you are a non-profit, so that if you ever become profitable they can force you to add adsense or can come after you. There's always a catch.

I find you post somewhat cruel and your superficial view of relationships may be the reason why you are single. Looks fade, but true love is built on more than the physical.
I was just going through some of the new tabs added to the profile portion and something struck me was odd/unique.
Why do they have single/married/other? I do NOT consider myself other. I cannot believe that they do not have partnered or something along those lines for people who are not or CANNOT be married, but are in a loving committed relationship.
Jimmy and I have been together for 8 and half years. I am proud to call him my husband and if anyone asks I tell them he is my husband. I do not consider what we have to be "OTHER"

Aren't you supposed to be out selling?
Blog??!! From what I hear most don't like having to select a Channel. Just so you know. I have a suggestion... if you want to keep it this way... make a "General talk", or something similar the top choice. Then we wouldn't feel every blog we have to go through.. trying to find a channel, when often we feel it fits into none. It's your site.. just giving a suggestion. Overall.. everyone loves Blogster!
