Jim Rome Sucks

For several years now, radio listeners around the country have had to listen to some 5'2" douchebag with a bad attitude and a street-smart vocabulary "smack" Eli Manning and the whole Manning family.

The fact that this clown has his own show proves two things. First, that anyone really can do anything in this great nation. Second, you don't have to know much about sports to have your own sports call in shows.

The worst part of it all is that Rome brings little substance to any discussion. It's about style, or worse, "smack." His show features people who call in and disrespect each other. Kind of like a sports talk version of Jerry Springer. Accuracy is irrelevant if you can outsmack other callers. Why should callers be accurate or have well-thought opinions? Because the host of the show isn't accurate and doesn't have well-thought opinions.

One of the best comments on the link above is this one:
Yeah, and I remember Rome saying how much better Ryan Leaf would be than Peyton Manning. Jim Rome is good for one thing, and that is making you laugh. He has no integrity anymore. He's a total sellout for whichever network(ABC/ESPN now) that is carrying his TV show. Remember him being all over Stuart Scott and Berman when he was with FOX? This year he was all over FOX during the world series for their promos. Funny, I didn't hear one word from him about the comment Bob Ryan, who was a regular on "The Sports Reporters" on ESPN, made about Jason Kidd's wife a few months ago, and that is exactly the kind of stuff he loves to jump all over. Weak.

Anyway, so you think Jim Rome has spent hours and hours breaking down tape of all of Eli Manning's games, and anyone should give a damn about his opinion? GMAFB.

Ryan Leaf. Peyton Manning. However you want to compare them, Rome was wrong. And he's been demonstrated wrong yet again by Eli Manning's MVP performance last night. Here's a comparison for you: Ryan Leaf versus Jim Rome.

Jungle Tard has been so wrong about so many things. Including the "karma" of those who come on his show. You want some real karma? Jim Rome's finest moment was getting his midget ass kicked by Jim Everett. I don't think the fetal position is considered a defensive move in MMA or any other sport. But neither is smack.

If I was tacky I would make a pun about your title--but I'm not! (tacky or making a pun.)
