Here are some shots of the New York New York Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.



The hotel rooms are in those fake sky scrapers, which are all different on the outside, but when you are inside, the halls are just crooked, and the rooms are all the same so it is hard to know which 'building' you are staying in.

There is a roller coaster ($15) that starts inside the building and goes outside on the roof of the casino. It runs until fairly late at night.



The casino floor has recently been redecorated to remove some of the more whimsical features such as a Statue of Liberty/Marilyn Monroe cross with her skirt blowing up. Now it still has the feel of walking down the street in different neighborhoods with a distinctly art-deco feel about it, but is classier.

We have never eaten at any of the restaurants at New York New York, but the player's club generously awards Mr. Tbend a couple hundred dollars in free slot play every month, so he visits there on a regular basis to take advantage of that.
