This is his beloved scratchy box. It's like a teddy bear for him and also a pillow for naps.

I don't have photos, but the latest news is that the sofa bed in the living room was set up for a recent houseguest, and Buddy considered the underneath of it to be his fort, so the guest is long gone, but the fort is still there. It's that same deal where he adopts large boxes that come into the house, and we don't the heart to deprive him of his caves. Eventually we get rid of them, but usually wait for him to get tired of that particular one.

This was taken here in Colorado, Buddy is watching the hummingbirds outside the window. He looks like a model for a Disney villain cat, sort of a 'if looks could kill' expression on his face. He doesn't get real agitated about the birds, but one of them must have caught his eye.

I put this bedspread on the bed, and he adopted it. It's a gaudy thing I bought at a flea market, but it matches the wallpaper.

Last year he helped us put together a jigsaw puzzle, and when it was completed, it belonged to him and we had to leave it there for a week. Actually, it's on his personal dining table, so he was just waiting to get it back.

This is Buddy's favorite napping place, a book shelf in the master bedroom where we store the towels. We put a chair next to it so he can get up there easily.

Buddy is coming here mid-June so we can take a bunch more pictures.
