This suite is at the end of the tower so there was a panoramic view of the Strip.

The bathroom was huge, larger than my kitchen and family room together.

This is what we'll probably get this time, nice enough, but not the grand experience.

This window is between the shower and the bedroom. Back when they built the place many years ago this probably seemed like a racy Las Vegas kind of thing architectural detail.

Here is you-know-who looking through it in a different suite. Silly.

The Rio Buffet is one of the largest in town, and although not necessarily the best, it has its high points. They have recently joined the trend of one price for unlimited buffet all day ($29 per person). I know, some of you are right this moment working yourselves into a tizzy about fat people waddling up to the trough, competing with all those people on scooters who ate their way into disability, but it's better to have it this way because the customers can eat just a little at each visit and still feel like they are getting their money's worth instead of hauling great heaped plates of food to their tables and eating about 1/3 of it. The waitresses are fine with it, they encourage people to drop in for just a cup of coffee and piece of pie to stay nourished between meals, because it increases their tip opportunities.
