After all the work Mr. Troutbend did to make an outside faucet on the red cabin, when he got it all hooked up and turned on the water, turns out there is a backflow preventer in the middle of the cabin where the surge tank is so the only time there would be water on this side of the cabin would be when the pump was actually on. Well, poopy. We can use the new valve when we drain the house in the fall, and maybe it will prevent future pipe breakages from freezing. But, shoot. No easy solution.
At least what he fixed is truly fixed, so once he gets the 220 volt plug figured out for the new water heater we'll have what we need done and ready for guests.
