Sometimes we forget about the mirror when taking photos.

I might go to this auction. Everything looks very clean in the pictures, and the furniture all looks like new. It is an estate sale and the former owner was an aviator in World War II, then had a car dealership before retiring. Looking at the photos, it looks like he bought all the furniture at one time, and although things are arranged nicely, it seems to lack that lived in feel it would have if he'd had a wife. It reminds me of my dad's condo in Sun City, Arizona that he barely used before he died. It was well set up with matching furniture and even a manual typewriter that matched the one he had in Colorado. He didn't use a computer, he typed all his checks and letters.
Don't be alarmed by the gun lying on the pass-through there. I'm sure the auctioneers got it out so they could photograph it. But see how new the furniture is, and neatly things are arranged around the phone?

But hey. The guy knew what mattered - lots of tools and fishing equipment and a 55 inch HD TV. I don't know what exactly I need but that's the fun of auctions.
