Pessimism is seeing the glass half empty, and of course the optimist sees it half full. I count my blessings, the warmth of my family, my pets, my house is still mine (thank God for that), the fact that I have a job in this tough time and that no matter what I'm going through, I feel like there's a God above watching over me. I've always felt that way and I've had my brushes with death a couple of times in my life. As the old saying goes, there are no atheists in foxholes, although I'm far from an atheist.
Keeping positive in tough times keeps me going and it keeps me young. No matter how hard things get, and trust me I've run the gambit of tough situations happening in my life, I stay positive of at least one thing...there's always a mountain that goes with my valley. And I do so love standing on the mountaintop.
Have a great and blessed day.
