I do not choose to use regular veterinarian type help with my animals, but chose long ago to use homeopathy to help my animals. I chose a course of vitamins and mineral supplements as well as herbal pain meds and organic food. I decided that they deserved as much as we do because they are our fur children and we are responsible for them. One of the great websites to go to is Shirley's Wellness Cafe and click on the pet section. There are doctors there who specialize in homeopathy for animals. My Labrador/Retriever introduced me to Homeopathy

At the age of six Ralph was in pain from arthritis and spondylitis and his vet suggested homeopathic treatment for him. Our other options were steroids or, if he was in too much pain, to have him put to sleep.I've always believed having a dog as part of the family holds similar responsibilities as having a disabled child, "one needs to be aware of their needs to lead a fulfilling life".
As Ralph was unable to even walk a few yards without screaming in pain, which meant he could no longer enjoy the beautiful park we live next to in London and he had grown to know since he was fourteen weeks old we decided to go ahead with homeopathic treatment for him.Within six months Ralph was walking around his familiar routes in the park and under a year of having treatment was running around again without any pain.
It was after a year of homeopathic treatment for Ralph that a psychiatrist I know stopped me in the park and told me that he was aware that Ralph was being treated homeopathically. He was amazed at the improvement in Ralph's condition, which had prompted him to question the efficacy of homeopathy. At a later encounter he told me that Ralph had completely changed his views on homeopathy and really considered homeopathic treatment as an effective health care system. I have since learnt that the same psychiatrist refers his patients to a homeopath before considering conventional psychiatric treatment.
I am telling this story about Ralph as he was a unique Labrador/Retriever and had many friends who loved him, from children to adults. Often when walking with Ralph in London people would cross over the street just to touch him, even children who apparently were afraid of dogs. Yes Ralph was very special. Even the Princess Royal HRH Princess Anne, requested that Ralph was to be around when she made her first visit to our premises as she had heard so much about him.
It is through Ralph I became interested in homeopathy as a medical system that works for acute and chronic illnesses and began my training as a homeopathic practitioner
