From Frustration to Pain
I was wandering about on another blog site, noticing a decidedly frustrated atmosphere. I read many blogs, and then I came over here. I have been noticing more former "other site" members here every day. Maybe they were here already and I didn't know. Well, I wouldn't know, would I? I've only been here a few days... less than a week. They are coming here in droves... or have been here in droves! I can't say I blame them. I do like this site.
Now if we could just convince Eddie to make our blogs available for editing forever and ever... that would be good.... very good.
I wrote the above a little while ago. I wandered a little more. I accidentally stumbled onto an old blog. It was so sad. I wonder what happened to the person. That often happens. You read a blog and it makes you interested and empathetic but the blog is old and the person hasn't returned. You wonder if that person is all right. You hope that person is fine, but you can't ever be sure. Each life is a story, and there are so many sad parts. Every life has some sad parts, but there are some lives filled with trauma. This person was young, probably a teen. It is so disappointing to find that so many children have no one that they can turn to because their "protectors" are the very ones who are tormenting them. That is the scariest situation. Nowhere to turn. Your protectors are your enemies.
Once a pastor told me that your ideas of the deity are based on your feelings toward your parents. So I think that these kids can't even have the comfort of believing in a kind God who will take care of them. This is causing a great heaviness to me. What kind of life can a child born to parents who really don't support them have? I mean bad, uncaring, cruel, abusive parents?
