Let me first say, as a veteran I have nothing but respect for John McCain who looks like he's going to lock up the Republican nomination even if it doesn't wrap it up tomorrow. He's an American Hero that I believe will run a civil campaign against either Hillary or Obama. However, I sincerely believe what this country needs is a complete break with the past. As a country we face incredibly serious challenges in the future with the continued bleeding of jobs over seas, a crippling 9 trillion dollar debt, a dysfunctional and broken health care system, no energy policy, a banking system on the verge of collapse running on money from China and the two wars going nowhere. This country is in need of inspiration and a means to be challenged to rise up and start addressing issues that are at the very fabric of our survival. Americans are ready to be challenged to do their part in getting America back to being a moral leader in the world today and to galvanize our talents to attack the economic problems we face.
We need to quit rewarding monopolies like Exxon Mobil as a captive audience and allowing them to make unheard of record profits of over 40 billion dollars while relying on supplies of oil from some of the most unstable sources in the world. We need to rev up the engines of our small businesses who we rely on for job growth in this country by helping them deal with the rising cost of doing business giving them the opportunity to get Government Contracts instead of suspending Small Business Contracting to reward noncompetitive contracts to big business that pillage the treasury. We need to trash the unsustainable medicare medicaid program and do what every industrialized country in the world has done, provide universal health care for all. It's time for true competition and the realization that this is not a liberal or conservative issue, but a moral one. It's time for the banking system in this country to quit swindling Americans and then running fire sales while replenishing their lost revenues with loans from China. There's a need as important as the mission to the moon to get our energy house in order increasing funding for the energy department to seed technologies such as electric cars, mass transportation based on demand, LED technology and the other soft renewable energies to break the monopolies of our energy dependence from places of instability that puts us a misstep away from economic disaster.

I think change is in order and believe that Jon McCain would make a great Secretary of Defense but he is not the man for our times. After a lot of thought, I sincerely believe what we need is radical change and believe Barrack Obama is the best suited candidate to bring some inspiration to this country. What I like about Obama is simply, he is a complete break with the past. I think he'll do what John Kennedy did by forming a cabinet of the best and the brightest. That's just what we need, new blood, new ideas and a return to optimism. I was never a fan of Ronald Reagan, but when he said, it's morning in American, that's just what we need or when John Kennedy said, ask not what your country can do, but what you can do for your country. We're missing that and with challenges never seen before in this country, we need everyone with a sense of a mission to reclaim our greatness. I admire Hillary's intellect, and would love to see the first woman elected, but she can not unify the country in the way Barrack Obama can. This election reminds many Americans of the election of Roosevelt, Kennedy and Reagan, a time of a shift in politics when Americans weren't against half of the country, but all part of a higher calling of putting this country back where it belongs as the true preeminent Democracy in the world based on morals and an economic giant comparable to the sleeping one that awoke during World War II to save the world from fascism. I'm ready for a change and we just won't get it from the likes of McCain, Romney or Hillary. We need a clarion call call to action to awake this country from it's stupor.
