About two years ago I broke my leg, and ever since then it's been none stop throbbing and aching, and I've gotten two infections in it. My last surgery to remove some of the hardware was about 4 weeks ago. I was talked into filing for disability, and that makes me feel bad. I never imagined my life at the age of 20 being half disabled, and barely able to stand for more than a few hours without needing to sit back down. My parents want me to stop going to cosmetology school until I can start feeling better, but that's like telling me to put my dreams on hold. Who even knows if I will feel better if I've been hurting for two years straight? I give up, I can't fight this battle anymore. I wish this would have never happened to me. I can see it now, my 50th birthday, still on disability... :[
