So being a resident of the area which I live in we are blessed by the ability to be a large part of the history. No my location is not correct on my profile, and we're not in Kansas anymore Toto. That is for the protection of my identity although it has come to my attention that my blog identity has been compromised. I always try to discuss the goings on in my life in terms of anonymity. It is not important because anything I say on here I would say to the reader's faces... cause that is how I roll peeps.

Friday night was a low key night, and before I settled in for the night I did manage to make a trip to the gym. I struggled a wii bit through the work out so I decided I needed to give the muscles a day of rest and planned to opt for no gym on Saturday. Friday night I finished up the night with some online scrabble with Kristy and my friend C and even her hubby got in on the gaming. HAHA. I am totally addicted to this game and yet I am not good at it all. Its all about having fun and not about whether you win or lose at least that is what I believe anyway.

Saturday I spent the day getting tires. How much fun is it to drop $600 on your car? Well that's what I did. I did my homework too and managed to negotiate them down $100 bucks. They know a tough customer when they see one. I am also in the process of reading Marley & Me because I have a rule that I cannot see a movie until I read the book. I am at the end and if you're not wanting to know the end of the book or the movie STOP reading. It tells the trials and tribulations of being a dog owner. It tells all the stories, the good, the bad and the ugly. I could relate to many of the stories and chuckled out loud many times. The end is heart-breaking and I don't recommend reading it in public. I had crocodile tears running down my face because, and I just started to read it.. they carried him into the vet's office on a stretcher. This is what happened to Max in the end. He too had to be carried in on stretcher, and my heart breaks for that. It really teaches you a lesson about mortality and how we're not living forever and life really is SHORT. Saturday night was some quality time with Kristy and R. So much fun while bowling. R kicked our asses... we had fun conversations!

Today I got up and started getting organized around the house. I will say I woke up a bit on the grouchy side. It did not begin well but we've since turned that around. The morning began with an EARLY 730 am walk with Spike. Then he was obsessed with playing ball so much that he got one stuck underneath the tv stand. I had to go into the closet and get the broom out to retrieve the ball from under there to stop the CRYING and pacing. When I grabbed the broom I was a bit pissy and I ripped the thing that holds the broom, the swifters and the mops off the wall. I guess I didn't realize my own strength. I am she-ra! RAWR! haha. Anyway after some breakfast and re-hanging and hanging some other things I feel a bit better. I have to finish cleaning up around the house because I am going to a party in my building and people might want to come see my digs, since it's a new place. SO I am just preparing for that and I need an excuse to clean up.. since the floor is UBER gross in my opinion.

Tomorrow I may go downtown and meet up a friend of a friend for a drink or two. We'll see and I may go check out Kristy's new toy, which I will not reveal because it's her news to tell. HAHA.

Tuesday is a bit of history and I hope to be some part of it. We shall see. Happy Funday Sunday Peeps!
