This was weekend two of spending the time with the lovely family! I arrived at my aunt's house around noon to help out with getting ready for my cousin W's baby shower. Spike came up for the trip of course. I brought his crate so that if we had to put him away while the guests were there or if he was annoying people. He was the hit of the set up portion of the party and he even had a pink bow on his collar. I didn't take a picture but I should have. As soon as I put the pink bow on him he started crying to say that he was displeased would be the understatement of the year.

The shower went on without any major issues. We had the typical activities that you might imagine at the shower. It was quite delightful and we had some dinner at the close of it. My Aunt and I were so happy when everyone left, we parked it on the couch and fell asleep. I woke up around midnight and went to bed.

Sunday morning Spike let me sleep in till 815. Then he started to make some noise so I decided to take him for a nice long walk. At my aunt's house they have a path that takes you to this soccer plex and it's like a 2 or more mile round trip walk. I didn't want him to bother my family and wake them up so I took him for a long walk and came back. After I got back my Aunt made me breakfast and we headed to a movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua it was too funny. I liked it a lot. Super cute and full of Disney cheese! We had dinner and I headed home.

There was lots of football watching in there, which I am not a big fan of. Other than that it was a glorious weekend. Hope you're all doing well.
