A Very Funny Spiker Story!

On Saturday, I took Spike down to a neighborhood that is kind a trendy, just outside of Georgetown. Whenever I walk him around I feel as though I am part of his entourage.

I grabbed the coffee first because there is no, let me tie Spike up while I go into the place to get coffee. I didn't want to cause a neighborhood disturbance. So I went to grab Spike so I could sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather here.

Spike and I were the hit of the outdoor seating area. He enjoyed watching the people there, and getting lavished with attention. Since he's a rare breed and no one can ever figure out what he is, its a conversation piece for sure. I was hoping to strike up conversations with boys, but mostly I struck up conversations with females.

After we finished our coffee we headed out for a stroll around the neighborhood. Some comments we got "That is one sweet ass dog." "He's so handsome." "What kind of dog is that?" So we were trying to cross the street when it happened. Spike and I started to run across the crosswalk so we didn't get hit. His legs slid out to the right and WIPEOUT. It was too funny. A guy commented on how very funny indeed that was that he fell on his side. He was not hurt.

Later I went to my cousin's house and we were on his deck. Spike started to limp cause he was sore from falling down on the concrete. My cousin's one wife started to say "Oh my god, he's limping." I looked at her cause I thought she was talking about her dog. I was like something is wrong with Chase? She said no, your dog. I looked at her, shrugged my shoulders and said. That is not a big deal, he fell today. He'll be fine soon! :)

Hope you enjoyed this little tale of the famous Spiker!
