The weekend was kicked off with a Thursday night drink fest at my house. We had wimbleton martinis courtsey of mio.

Recipe for the drink:
1 oz Strawberry Puree
1 - 2 oz Vodka
Top off with Champagne

Rim:

Dip glass in honey
Dip glass in pop rocks candy

It's a party in your mouth and you're invited. I am not kidding. I think I drank about 6- 7 of them and the more I drank the stronger that they got. Kristy, My Neighbor L, and My cousin T all came over to enjoy. T spent the night and worked on her paper while I was at work.

My boss was in a good mood from his vacation and decided to cut us loose at 2 pm. I went to leave and there was an issue at work. I handled it and headed home. I was starving since I didn't eat lunch. So I stopped @ Mc Donalds and got some food. I brought cousin T some Sweet Tea, we played the wii and then she headed out of here. Friday night I got to spend more time with Kristy we went to a lovely tex mex place and the food was delcious, not to mention the cheap margaritas. Yummo. After dinner we decided to try our luck at trivia at another watering hole. We were playing against sci fi nerds, and we lost! But it was still fun, fun.

Saturday, I got my hair did. My hairdresser has been doing my hair for 9 years. She's going on maternity leave and it's quite traumatic for me. I am going to go to the guy who owns the shop in the meantime but I am not excited about this, in the least. In the afternoon, I spent more time with T because I had to finish up her wedding invite. I left the Aunt's house around 7 pm and was excited for a night of nothingness on the couch.

Sunday morning was a rude awakening when the Spiker decided to wake me up at 6 am. We went for a walk and I wanted desperately to go back to bed. Unfortunately, he was not so keen on this plan. I thought he was going to be sick, as there was a lot of on the bed, off the bed, on the bed, off the bed. So I finally went back to sleep, and got up around 830. Spike desperately needed a bath because he smelled "most foul." I had to go the grocery store because take out while friendly when they deliver, it's not friendly on the wallet or the waistline. I ran there and picked up some things, and headed home. Spike and I read the paper outside on a bench in front of the street. Neighbor L had a brunch so we got to eat some yummy food, and have conversations. Of course there were mimosas. I didn't want to stop drinking but I knew the family was counting on seeing me. I went home spent some time with Spike and went ahead and headed to dinner. We ate too much, and I was super full. I couldn't even indulge in desert. It was a true tragedy as it was quite tasty. I did get (three bites) I am pretty sure that it had all things lactose in them. It was SO SO SO SO GOOD!

The weekend was quite busy, but it was delicious and glorious! Hope you all had a great Easter.
