This weekend was off the chain! I volunteered to be a "beer taster" at the Brew Fest here in the Greater Washington DC area. We were supposed to be taking tickets, and they assembled us into groups. They asked us if we were on the "red team" which we were and they took us to a table full of beer taps and kegs. N and I volunteered to pour Blue Moon beer, and we had great weather. The weather was very unlike DC summer weather. It was 80 degrees, Sunny and not humid. Under the tent it was quite glorious. We got to meet some fun people and drink for free all day. We both had plans after our shift was up and so we went home.

Saturday night I met up with my cousin C and her boyfriend D. We went to a place I used to work at and had dinner and then we went to the movie Transformers. The special effects were kick ass. I didn't see the first one, but I did enjoy it tremendously!

Sunday morning I woke up and went wine tasting with our very own Kristy. If you're our facebook friends you can see it over there! She posted it. Honestly we had a blast, we went to 5 wineries and then to dinner and then more drinks. R walked Spike he talked his way in my building to my concierge.

Honestly, I can't remember when I had this much fun in a weekend in a really long time. It was truly an epic weekend and I can't tell you how very exciting it was.

Today started off busy with an interview at Maggiano's to wait tables, and a phone interview for a non profit. I have a second interview at the restaurant on Wednesday and I may be going into this non profit next week if they liked my phone interview. I really hope they did cause they are right up my alley in terms of interest and what not. It would be a truly rockin opportunity where I could see myself staying for many years.
