                           Tahiti
Tahiti was Holly's and her staff's first stop on their way to Auckland.  They spent the night there before boarding another Tahiti Air flight to New Zealand. ÂÂ
Thanks to a new program on the internet, we were able to track her flight the whole time, knowing exactly where her plane was from the moment it left L.A. until she reached Tahiti 13 hours later as well as the next day as she traveled on to Auckland.
It's something like radar, only more sophisticated.  We downloaded the airline and the flight number; then, the system picked up the plane.  We kept one computer open to the program, watching the actual plane on which she was riding as it flew across the Pacific.  It was amazing!ÂÂ
We knew the instant she touched down.  She called shortly after landing in Tahiti.  Since she arrived in Auckland, we have web-cammed with her twice.
She had nothing but complimentary things to say about the flight.  She reported that the cabin crew was snappily dressed in attractive uniforms.  However, once they were in the air, they switched to casual island wear and began serving champagne. ÂÂ
Holly said the seats were plush and reclined much farther back than on a traditional domestic flight, that the service and food were excellent, and the flight smooth.  For example, the main course between Tahiti and Auckland was Duck Pate. ÂÂ
The group are staying at The Hilton in Auckland, which is built actually out in the harbor.
One thing about my Holly.....When she books a trip, it's uptown all the way.
